The Family Child Care Partnerships program in the Department of Human Development and Family Studies is seeking an individual for the position of Administrator, Outreach Programs (ERSEA Coordinator) in support of Eligibility, Recruitment, Selection, Enrollment, Attendance, and transitions for the Beginning Education Successfully Together Early Head Start program.
Primary responsibilities will include: Recruit family child care providers and potential children into the program; facilitate the collection of eligibility documentation and parent eligibility interviews; work with Childcare Management Agencies (CMAs) to determine child eligibility; work with families and providers to ensure the program maintains full enrollment and meets federal mandates and quotas; monitor children's attendance through prescribed procedures and ensure no unallowable fees or conditions are required by providers; assist with data entry in to the ChildPlus system; facilitate the transition of children from one program site to another and those who age out or are otherwise no longer eligible to participate; develop and maintain a database to ensure proper tracking, monitoring, and compliance as it relates to ERSEA responsibilities; prepare reports as required by program sponsor and other administrative staff; prepare contracts and amendments to contracts to match enrollment status of children; and collaborate with other staff and agencies as directed.
Travel is required including some overnight.
Additional responsibilities will include: Attend required training as directed by administrative staff; ensure professional communications and information sharing occurs among project staff, clients, and administration; and provide guidance to family child care mentors and providers enrolled in the program.
Entry into the applicant pool requires a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field; a valid drivers license or the ability to obtain one prior to selection.
Excellent interpersonal skills; reliable transportation for recruitment and other support are also essential.
