The Perioperative Nursing Program may be the right choice for you!
This 10-12 week full-time paid program beginning April 15th,
is designed to teach RNs the scrub and circulating role in the Operating Room with the expectation of a long-standing career in an OR setting. The Perioperative Program provides classroom lecture, skill development during mock surgeries and precepted clinical experiences that are integrated to facilitate your success. Following successful program completion, orientation and training continues as you gain knowledge and skills in other clinical OR specialties. This is a full time regularly-statused RN position. Hours of Operation:Monday through Friday, Variable Shifts
Call is required on nights, weekends, and holidays
Thorough knowledge of nursing process and practice
Familiarity with a variety of technical equipment to meet patient needs and prescribed medical therapies.
Ability to demonstrate a professional demeanor while using a team approach when providing care.
Enthusiastic and motivated with willingness to learn and ability to multitask.Educational Requirements:Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing from accredited program required. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing highly preferred.Experienced nurses with Associate Degrees/Diploma in Nursing will commit at the time of hire to complete a Bachelors of Science Degree (BSN) or higher in nursing within 5 years of hireLicense Requirements:Registered Nurse with current license to practice in the State of Ohio by the start of the program.Preferred Qualifications:One (1) or more years of experience as a licensed RN preferred.Former critical care experience in an inpatient environment highly preferred.
RN candidates with a passion for a career in the Operating Room. New Grads are welcome to apply but must obtain their RN license before you apply.
